MCCS operates a retail store aboard the Mountain Warfare Training Center [MWTC]. The Marine Corps Exchange at the MWTC is the hub of consumable supplies needed for training and everyday life aboard the base. We try to accommodate all different aspects of the mountain environment.

We carry grocery items, snacks and drinks as well as camping and fishing supplies, batteries, movies and music. We also carry utility uniforms, medals, ribbons and accessories and can special order just about any item we don't currently have in stock. We also sell hunting and fishing licenses, ammunition and special order car parts, whether it's for an emergency or just accessorizing your favorite ride.

As the situation dictates, we are also available for field exchange operations, and will extend hours for training units [with 48 hours advance notice]. No matter what the season, the Marine Corps Exchange is here to serve you.

Check Cashing

Staff NCO / Officers - $200/day

These rates also apply to civilians and spouses of service members with determination made on rank of service member.

The Marine Corps Exchange, located in base housing, provides residents a local means of getting many of the same items available at the base and also provides a local source for those last minute necessities.

The Country Store offers a selection of groceries, health and beauty aids, personal items, electronics, gifts and souvenir items.

For convenience, an ATM is located in the store's air lock.

MCCS contracts with a barber to provide services to permanent personnel and Marines and Sailors training aboard MWTC.  While other shops charge various prices for different cuts, our barber shop covers all military styles [Flat Top, Hi & Tight and other clipper cuts] for a nominal fee of $5.50. Oh, and we'll throw in a mustache trim at no extra cost.

Larger training units are asked to allow 48 hours advance notice for arrangements to schedule cuts with approximate cutting times of 20 to 25 persons per hour. This may include providing availability on closed days. Please contact Ms. Bobbie Hughes at 760.932.1530 for further details.

So, whether you need to park your boat and trailer, keep a lock on a new dinette set or just store that toddler bed, our storage facilities are here to meet your needs. Quarterly

MCCS hosts a quarterly veterinary clinic service. A veterinarian from a visiting base provides a low cost clinic throughout the year. Services include shots, health check ups and education. With advanced notice, your pet can receive flea and heartworm medications. We look forward to serving your family's pet needs.
